Ramon Tormes was born in Salamanca (Spain) on March 3, 1963. Since he was very young, and thanks to the fact that part of his family lives in the Dominican Republic, he spends long periods in the Caribbean captivated by his culture and nature. Tropicalism that is reflected in his current works.

He studied at the School of Applied Arts of Salamanca and in the mid-1980s he moved to Madrid where he lived and intensely participated in the bustle of a capital immersed in the so-called “movida”.

At the beginning of the 90s he moved to Ibiza where he spent almost 6 years fulfilling his desire to enjoy life to the fullest, and later, with his vital suitcase already full of experiences, he returned to his native Salamanca where he began a new stage as landscaper and florist. And where he continues to head Viveros Tormes after 20 years.
